ISO9001-2008 Lead Auditor Training with 3rd Party Certification
4 Days of Training: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Certified vs. Non-Certified Versions:
What is the difference between the CERTIFIED version and the non-certified version? The cost. The certified version costs a little more. If you want the price of your training to include third-party certification then all you have to do is pay the extra charge. If you want lead auditor training, need a competency evaluation, but don’t intend to pay annual dues to join a certification bureau, then save yourself a couple dollars by registering for our non-certified version.
As for the service that QAI will provide to you at the session that you choose, the training is exactly the same: same schedules, same cities, same instructor, same materials, same great workbook and the same classroom. The dollar decision choice is up to you. We’ll provide the same great training either way.

About the Course
Since 1999, QAI has taught tens of thousands of people to be effective auditors, audit team members, and audit team leaders. Our success of an over 98% pass-fail rate proves the effectiveness.
With the release of our first competency based course in 2006, QAI paved the way for an ISO9001 Lead Auditor training class that could be completed in the time frame most adults were accustomed to working in their everyday jobs. QAI competency based Lead Auditor training session students get four days of 8am-5pm instruction. There are no long nights or mounds of homework.
Our training includes hands-on activities, practice, multi-media and high tech video training techniques. Instead of cramming with an outdated style of "brain dump" training based solely on the results of a two hour examination on the last day of class, we offer a measureable way to train employees. It's easy-to-learn, fast and enjoyable.
Competency based training includes multiple examination activities that take place several times each day. Students receive feedback and guidance in each examination activity. The feedback and guidance give them confidence that not only is the material understood but can be put into practice in a real-world work environment. These multiple examinations help instructors to assure that students understand and grasp the material. Expert instructors assess the learning and instruction that has occurred to that point and provide guidance to help the student close any gaps where material may not have been fully understood. This reassessment and guidance from an instructor with real world experience, helps students improve confidence in their abilities, apply newly learned information and increase competency.
This training course includes a competency based training evaluation designed by QAI. Students no longer have to dread the 'boot camp' days of ISO9001 Lead Auditor training. With this newly designed training course, the class concludes every day by 5 pm. There is "peace of mind" in knowing that pass-fail results culminate from class each day (rather than waiting days or weeks later). Competency based training provides the opportunity to create more experienced, effective and competent auditors.
Beyond the real-world professional know-how students receive, this QMS Lead Auditor course gives students outstanding training materials. The professionally prepared student book serves as a valuable reference tool for years to come. Support of an ISO9001 registered training company is provided.
The QMS Lead Auditor training course prepares graduates to become proficient and professional QMS auditors by giving them the tools of multiple, progressive learning approaches coupled with hands-on practice auditing.
The course includes a complete and thorough review of the ISO9001 standard. This includes a look back at the history of quality and follows to the current QMS system. The comprehensive course section helps comprehend the financial side of the QMS; helping students to best understand how a QMS really works ($$).
Lecture topics include implementation and documentation strategies, as well as methods. Workshop activities are designed to strengthen a student's ability to assess a QMS system and its compliance to the standard.
Group case studies with mock auditing examples, reinforce the learning process and familiarize students with process auditing. The course is designed around an actual case study of a facility and its’ Quality Management Systems. Students end the course by conducting an assessment of the case study facility and making a recommendation.
